Social media strategy and management

Strategy & Governance & Execution

From channel strategy to account strategy to content and messaging planning - there is so much to think about when it comes to your social presence.

How do you keep oversight and protect your brand ? How do you ensure your social presence has quality control, consistency and is appropriately targeted?

A good social channel strategy takes into account your stakeholder audiences, resourcing levels, marketing maturity and - most of all - your objectives for using social media.

I’ve been able to reduce brand risk and liability by streamlining owned accounts on a range of platforms, implement robust governance and policies to align accounts and protect access.

Social media management

An effective Social Media Program requires the following pillars:

Social Media Governance and Security - Developed with input from Legal, Security and IT teams, a good social governance policy addresses who and how employees and vendors may access your accounts and social data. In concert with the governance plan, a company-wide Social Media Policy addresses how employees and contractors should (or should not) message about the company’s work on social accounts (their own or the company’s).

Channel and Content Strategy - A robust channel and content strategy considers the business’ stakeholders, impacted geographies and brand architecture in order to generate the most impactful results.

Metrics and Reporting Plan - Defining metrics, KPIs and a plan for ongoing reporting and review ensures that your social initiatives will align with your business goals, and will allow you to iterate to improve results.

Without these three, your social channels can’t do their best work.

I can help! I have a history of developing and executing on enterprise-wide global social programs that incorporate all three pillars. My work demonstrates a history of YoY successful growth on a range of social media channels, with not only increased reach and engagement on-platform, but also substantial growth in web traffic and conversions.
